Working with unknown is way easier

I have to say that using LLMs to write this blog is something that was a pretty cool experiment to begin with. Never in my life had I worked with Astro before and yet here I have my whole personal website working on it. And, surprisingly, I don’t feel stupid doing that.

This is what I believe LLMs are great at — in areas where we are just not that proficient, they allow us to start quickly. I remember that a long time ago I heard that an expert is a person in a room who knows most about specific subject. That’s exactly how I feel working with LLMs.

If I know the technology, I feel quite often that models aren’t that smart and they just try to make me happy. On the other hand, if I don’t know a thing about the technology, they allow me to get somewhere very quickly (even if perhaps the quality of the solution isn’t the best).

But hey, done is better than perfect.
